The inspection and estimate are free — the inspector assesses on site and gives you the plan and exact price before any work. If you'd like lab testing, they'll explain that fee up front.

Is this black mold / is it dangerous?
I understand the worry, but the only way to know what it is and the type is proper testing — I wouldn't want to guess over the phone. We take all mold seriously and can test it so you know for sure.
Will it make us sick / is it a health risk?
Mold can bother people, especially anyone sensitive, so please keep them out of that area for now and see a doctor for any symptoms. We'll get an inspector out to handle it safely.
I see spots / think I have mold

There's a musty smell

Do you fix what's causing the mold?
Yes — that's essential. We find and fix the moisture source, because removing mold without stopping the water just lets it come back. The inspector will assess it on site.
Do you test the air or just remove it?
We do both — inspection and lab or air testing to confirm what's there, then removal. Many folks like a test before and a clearance test after to be sure it's handled.
Do you remove it safely / contain it?
Yes — we seal off the area and use HEPA air scrubbers so spores don't spread through the home while we remove it. Doing it contained is the right way.
Do you do attics, basements, or crawl spaces?
We do — attics, basements, crawl spaces, and bathrooms are common spots we handle. The inspector will assess the area and go over the plan.
Will you replace the drywall afterward?
Yes — after removal and drying we can replace drywall and finish it back, so it's handled start to finish. The inspector will include that in the plan.
Do you work with insurance?
Sometimes mold is covered, depending on the cause and your policy — we document everything, and the office can help you understand what your insurance may cover.
