Frequently asked questions
How much does land clearing cost?
It depends on the acreage, how thick the growth is, the terrain, and access, so the estimate is free. We walk the property and give you the exact price — it's not something we can pin down over the phone.
Do you charge to come look / for an estimate?
No — walking the property and giving you an estimate is free. You only pay if you approve the work.
How soon can you start?
We can usually get out to look pretty quickly and give you a start window right then — let's get a site visit on the calendar.
What is forestry mulching / do you offer it?
Yes — forestry mulching grinds brush and smaller trees right in place and leaves mulch on the ground, so there's nothing to haul and it helps with erosion. It's a great fit for a lot of jobs, and we'll tell you if it suits yours.
Do you remove stumps and roots?
We do — we can grind or grub out stumps and roots so the land is clean and ready. We'll include it in your estimate.
Can you clear land for a house or driveway?
Absolutely — clearing and site prep for a build, driveway, pad, or pasture is a big part of what we do, including rough grading. We'll look at your plans and the site.
Do you haul away the debris?
Yes — we can haul off or chip the debris, or mulch it in place, whichever fits your property and budget. We'll go over the options during the walk-through.
How many acres can you handle?
We handle everything from a small residential lot to large acreage and commercial sites. Just tell us roughly the size and we'll bring the right equipment.
Do I need a permit / are there environmental rules?
Some areas do have permit or environmental rules, especially near wetlands or with protected trees, and we'll help make sure it's handled properly before we start so there are no surprises.
What about buried utility lines?
We call 811 to get all the buried gas, power, water, and cable lines located and marked before we clear or dig — it's required and it keeps everyone safe.
There's a tree on my power line / leaning on my house
Please keep everyone well clear of that — a tree on a power line is very dangerous, so call your utility or 911 right away for that one. For a tree threatening the house, we'll come assess and remove it safely.
Do you do grading and leveling too?
Yes — we can grade and level the land after clearing so it's shaped the way you need. Just let us know and we'll include it in the estimate.
Do you work on commercial / farm / large sites?
We do — homes, farms, ranches, and commercial developments alike. Tell us about the project and we'll bring the right crew and equipment.
Do you service my area?
We're local and cover your area — I'll grab your address and get a site visit scheduled to give you a price.
