Frequently asked questions
Do you charge for a consultation / estimate?
The first consultation is free — we learn what you're picturing, your lot and budget, and then give you a clear, detailed estimate before any commitment.
How much does it cost to build a home / per square foot?
It really depends on the size, the finishes, and your lot, so we price from your actual plans and give you a clear detailed estimate — it's not something anyone can pin down accurately over the phone.
How long does it take to build a home?
Every build is different, but we'll give you a realistic timeline based on your plans and lot when we sit down — we'd rather be honest than throw out a number that won't hold.
Do you build custom homes?
Yes — custom homes are what we love; we can build to your design or help you design it from the ground up on your lot.
I have land — can you build on it?
Absolutely — if you have land, that's a great start. We'll look at the lot, talk through plans, and give you a clear estimate for free.
Do you have plans / models to choose from?
We do — we can walk you through our plans and models, or go fully custom. We'll figure out what fits you best at the consultation.
Do you help with financing or permits?
Yes — we coordinate the permits and plans, and we can point you toward construction financing options. We'll walk you through the whole process.
Do you build townhomes / multi-family?
Yes — we build townhomes and multi-family in addition to single-family homes. Let us know what you're planning and we'll take it from there.
Do you do modular homes?
We do handle modular home installs — the sections are built in a factory and we set and finish them on your site. We'll go over how it works.
Can I make changes during the build?
Yes — we handle changes through a clear change-order process so you always know the cost and how it affects the timeline before we proceed.
What's your warranty on a new home?
We stand behind our homes with a warranty — typically workmanship coverage plus longer structural coverage — and we'll go over the exact terms with you.
I have a warranty issue on a home you built
I'm glad you called — let's get that taken care of. If it's anything urgent like water or safety, tell me now; otherwise we'll get someone out to look at it.
How do I get started / what's the first step?
The first step is an easy one — a free consultation where we learn what you want and walk you through the whole process. Let's get that on the calendar.
Do you build in my area?
We build locally in the area — let me note where your lot or project is and we'll confirm we cover it and get you set up.
⚠️ Safety first
- Someone reports a hazard at an active job site (open excavation, equipment, kids nearby): Thanks for flagging that — please keep everyone, especially kids, away from the site for now, and we'll get our site team on it right away to make it safe.
- Gas smell or active gas leak in a finished home: Please get everyone out of the house without touching switches, and once you're outside call 911 or your gas company. After it's safe, let us know and we'll follow up on the warranty side.
- Active water leak or flooding in a home under warranty: Let's limit the damage first — if you can, shut off the main water valve, and keep clear of any water near electrical. Then we'll get someone out to look at it as a priority.
- Structural concern — sagging, major cracks, something shifting: If something structural looks like it's moving or unsafe, please keep everyone out of that area, and we'll get someone out to assess it quickly.
