Frequently asked questions
Do you charge for an estimate / to come out?
Estimates are completely free — we come look at the site and give you the exact price before any work is done.
How much does a driveway / patio / concrete cost?
Concrete depends a lot on the size, the base, and the finish, so we look at the site and give you the exact price up front — and the estimate is free.
How soon can you start / how long does it take?
We schedule estimates quickly, and we'll give you a realistic start date and timeline once we see the project — a lot depends on the size and weather.
My concrete is cracked / crumbling — can you fix it?
Yes — we handle concrete repair. The crew will take a look and go over whether it's best repaired or replaced, and give you the exact price for free.
My slab has sunk / is uneven — can you level it?
We can — raising and leveling sunken slabs is common work for us. Please keep foot traffic clear if it's a trip hazard, and we'll come look for free.
Do you do stamped or decorative concrete?
Yes — stamped, stained, and decorative concrete are things we do. The crew can show you patterns and colors and give you an exact quote for free.
Can you remove and replace old concrete?
Absolutely — we remove old concrete and pour new. Just let me know roughly how big the area is and we'll set up a free estimate.
Do you do garage floor coatings / epoxy?
We do — garage floor coatings and finishes are one of our services. The crew will look at the floor and give you the exact price up front.
Do you pour foundations / footings?
Yes — we pour foundations, footings, and structural slabs. Tell me a bit about the project and we'll come take a look.
Do you do commercial concrete work?
We do — commercial slabs, curbs, sidewalks, and more, alongside residential work. Let me know the project and we'll set up a site visit.
How long before I can walk or drive on it?
It's usually walkable within a day or so and drive-ready in about a week, but the crew will give you exact times for your pour and weather.
What's your warranty / guarantee?
We stand behind our work — the crew will go over the exact warranty on the concrete and installation when they're there.
Do you offer financing / payment options?
That's a good question — let me have the office confirm the current payment options and we'll go over them with you.
Do you service my area?
We're local and cover your area — I'll grab your address and set up a free on-site estimate.
⚠️ Safety first
- Wet concrete on skin or in eyes (chemical burn risk): Fresh concrete can burn the skin, so please rinse it off right away with plenty of water. If it got in the eyes or is really irritating, flush with water and get medical help — and if it's serious, call 911. We'll take care of the concrete side once you're okay.
- Sunken or heaving slab creating a bad trip hazard near a doorway or steps: Thanks for flagging that — please mark it or keep foot traffic clear so no one trips, and we'll get someone out to look at leveling it safely.
- Concrete steps or a slab that has broken away and could give out: Please don't put weight on that section and keep people off it for now — we'll get someone out to look at it and make it safe.
- Freshly poured slab and kids or pets nearby: Please keep kids and pets off the fresh concrete until it sets — it's soft and can burn skin. We'll let you know when it's safe to walk on.
Know the terms
- Flatwork
- Flat concrete surfaces like driveways, patios, sidewalks, and slabs.
- Control joint
- The straight cut lines put in a slab so cracking happens where planned instead of randomly.
- Base / sub-base
- The compacted gravel and soil under the concrete; proper base is what keeps a slab from sinking or cracking.
- Stamped concrete
- Concrete textured and colored to look like stone, brick, or wood.
- Spalling
- Surface flaking or chipping on the top of the concrete.
- Mudjacking / foam leveling
- Raising a sunken slab by pumping material underneath to lift it back level.
