Frequently asked questions
Do you charge to come out / for a diagnostic?
There's a modest fee to come out and diagnose it, and it's typically applied toward the repair if you go ahead — the office will confirm the exact fee before we come.
How much to fix my appliance?
It depends on the appliance and what it needs, so the technician gives you the exact repair price up front before any work — and you decide from there.
How soon can you come / same day?
We offer same-day and next-day appointments and can usually get a technician out to you soon.
My refrigerator isn't cooling
I'm sorry, that's stressful with the food — keep the doors shut to hold the cold, and we'll get a technician out to you quickly to take care of it.
My washer won't drain or spin
No problem — the technician will figure out what's going on and get it working again. Let's get a visit set up.
My dryer isn't drying
We can take care of that — the technician will check the dryer and, if the vent's involved, flag that too since it's a safety item. Let's get you scheduled.
My oven or stove won't heat
The technician will check it out and get your cooking back — let's book a visit. If it's gas and you ever smell gas, stop using it and call your gas company first.

We handle that all the time — the technician will find the issue and give you the exact price before any work. Let's get it scheduled.
Do you work on my brand?
Yes, we service most major brands, including high-end ones — let me know which appliance and we'll get you taken care of.
Is it worth repairing or should I replace it?
That's a great question for the technician — he'll look at the age and the cost of the fix and give you an honest recommendation either way, no pressure.
Do you install or haul away appliances?
Yes, we install appliances and can haul away the old one too — just let us know and we'll include it.
What's your warranty / guarantee?
We stand behind our repairs — the technician will go over the exact warranty on parts and labor when he's there.
Do you offer financing / payment options?
We take common payment methods — let me have the office confirm the current options and go over them with you.
Do you service my area?
We're local and cover your area — I'll grab your address and get a technician headed your way.
⚠️ Safety first
- Gas smell near a gas stove, range, or dryer: Please stop using it, don't touch any switches, and if the gas smell is strong, get everyone outside and call your gas company or 911 from outdoors. Once it's safe, we'll get a technician out to you.
- Sparks, smoke, or a burning smell from an appliance: Please unplug it or switch off its breaker right now and stop using it — that keeps everyone safe. Leave it off and we'll send a technician out.
- Water leaking near an electrical appliance or outlet: Please keep away from the water and, if it's safe to reach, switch off that breaker before touching anything — then we'll get a technician out to take care of it.
- Refrigerator full of food and completely warm: I know that's stressful with the food — let's get you on the schedule quickly. In the meantime, keeping the doors shut helps hold the cold as long as possible.
